Schwabe®’s compression molding presses are designed and manufactured around the specific requirements of your production process. Our compression molding machines combine robust construction, precise stroke control, reliable heating, and flexible automation to deliver the performance and repeatability manufacturers depend on.

Whether you are molding composites, thermosets, rubber, friction materials, or other advanced materials, Schwabe® provides a compression molding solution engineered for your application.

Features & Options

Compression molding is a process used to manufacture structural and functional components by applying controlled force and often heat to material placed within a matched mold, or in some cases, directly between heated platens.

  • Self-contained, energy-efficient hydraulic system
  • User-friendly programmable control system
  • Heavy-duty welded steel construction which has been stress-relieved
  • Full tonnage over the entire stroke of the platen
  • Heavy duty, rigid, large diameter center guide keeps the head and bed parallel at all times
  • No more than five (5) moving parts
  • Heated Platen Option
  • Manual or Automatic Infeed and Outfeed Designs
  • Robot Integration Option
  • Capable of using multiple types of tooling
  • Side Die Loading/Unloading Option
