Side Die Loading
Fixed pneumatic die rails in head of press. Center pneumatic clamps included to help prevent die board from sagging. Die boards to be loaded from the side of the machine. The fixed outer rails will pneumatically raise and lower. The center clamp opposite of the loading side will pneumatically raise and lower. The center clamp on the operator loading side will not only pneumatically raise and lower, but also conveniently swing out to ensure there is no interference when the die board is loaded

Scrap Diverter System
Full sheet of material will be cut prior to the material reaching the scrap diverter
Scrap diverting belts will be used to pull the scrap downward, the scrap falls onto a scrap
conveyor
Scrap diverting belts to be infinitely adjustable across the width of the cutting belt. This adjustment will be manual and will be manually
locked in place to ensure they do not move during operation
Sponges will transition across the gap onto a transition tray before reaching the next conveyor
Separator System - Immediately following scrap diverter, the cut sponges will index onto a separate conveyor.
Mounted across the top of the
conveyor, left to right, will be a series of driven rollers (approximately 5, but to be confirmed after engineering design).
Mounted to these rollers ona bias will be mechanisms used to break apart the sponges.
