(The Receding Head Press is also known in the industry as a Receding Beam Press)
1. Accurate and Consistent cuts time after time.
Receding Head Press feature:
Material to be cut is mounted on a stationary table that securely holds the material in place, avoiding any
shifting problems.
Benefit:
Accurate and consistent die cutting time after time.
2. Rack and Pinion Head-Speed Control
Receding Head Press feature:
Special rack and pinion head-speed control system allows quick head receding speed and adjustable
receding distance to produce cycle times ranging from 3 to 4 seconds per die cut.
This system also ensures the receding head starts and stops smoothly at both ends, eliminating any shock or vibration.
Benefit:
Faster cycle times.
3. Optional Command Photocell Increases Production and Reduces Operator Fatigue
Receding Head Press feature:
Available as an option on the RH Series is the CE Compliance Type 4 Command Photocell, which
features an operator detection and machine control function.
The press can be run in the Auto 1 or Auto 2 operating mode, which means the photocell commands the cutting press to
start cutting after the operator reaches in to position material once or twice.
Benefit:
Allows faster cycle times and saves operator movement, thereby reducing operator fatigue.
4. Unique Balancing System Reduces Wear On Cutting Dies and Pads
Receding Head Press feature:
The RH Series extremely rigid construction with mechanical balancing keeps the head and bed parallel
during the cutting stroke.
Benefit:
Ensures clean even die cutting and reducing wear on cutting die surfaces.
5. RH Series Two-Speed Die Cutting Stroke
Receding Head Press Feature: Provides maximum speed on the down stroke and accurate control of the die cutting position.
Benefit: Optimizes production rates and extends die cutting pad and die life.
